A little slice of Heaven tucked away on a most peaceful and natural setting as can be imagined! Walking the grounds or exploring the natural bounty of the island can"t be more cathartic than this. Extremely comfortable beds and very clean rooms!

The Squire Tarbox Inn is everything you could imagine it would be, a quaint rural homestead with luscious gardens, pastoral vistas, nestled in one of the best parts of the Maine coast. The Inn is a beautifully preserved home with all the warmth and charm of a cozy New England escape. The owners pay homage to the historical significance of the architecture while attending to details with discerning and well-appointed design choices. We were able to experience a step back in time with all the modern conveniences and amenities that will make this a very memorable stay. If you are in the midcoast area, I highly recommend taking the trip to Westport. It will not disappoint.

This place is incredible. The staff was super warm and welcoming. The rooms are so well decorated-- I will definitely be booking here in the future!

It was the absolute perfect getaway. They had luxury touches in bedding and linens which was great treat. The inn's interiors were so well thought out and executed. The tranquility of the grounds made it a relaxing get away to unplug and recharge.

This was such a lovely stay! We enjoyed our visit immensely and particularly loved all of the options for places to sit and take in the views. Such a beautifully renovated and unique property! The rooms are exceptionally cozy, well appointed, and comfortable. I don't know if I have ever slept in a bed this delightful at a hotel. And even more than the individual rooms, the common areas are inviting, enjoyable, and welcoming. At the Squire Tarbox, breakfast was my favorite part of every day. Gathering with the other guests and savoring coffee on the porch while eating well-made breakfast was time well spent.

This place is a real gem. A beautiful and painstaking renovation done to this building with charming rooms that are true to the period but with a modern touch. Stunning grounds only add to the experience.

Unbelievable BNB located in close proximity to Boothbay. Our family of 4 (14 and 11) enjoyed the beautiful property, comfortable accommodations, and five star service. Highly recommend including this as part of your visit to this area of Maine!

We were there for just a couple of days, but from what we saw it gets top rating. From the moment you drive in you know you are at a peaceful retreat away from everything. The place was beautifully decorated and had the farmhouse charm.

So, if you want peace and quiet, beautiful setting this is the place to be. Rates were well worth what you receive. Remote yet still close to everything you want or need. We absolutely will be back.
