Purple Orchid Weddings + Events, is a full-service event planning company specializing in tented, outside, estate, barn, camp and family owned properties throughout Maine. Wedding Planning services include full service wedding planning, consultation (partial) wedding planning and day-of coordination, which starts six weeks prior to your wedding. Purple Orchid strives to be one of Maine’s premier logistical planners and only design weddings for our full- service clients. We are fun and creative, client focused, logistical gurus.
Almost 20 years ago, for the cost of film and developing, I photographed my very first wedding on a San Francisco beach with the Golden Gate Bridge as the backdrop. From that day, I was completely in love with everything about love. I’ve taken my years of experience and heart to strive for a calm, thoughtful, joyful approach and I will walk you through each step.
Stayed here for a wedding. The rooms were beautiful and clean, the view across the grounds was gorgeous, and the breakfast was delicious! I would happily stay here again! I was a part of a wedding party, and the staff here were extremely helpful with setup, during the wedding, and with break-down after. The grounds were meticulously prepared and we had access to everything we needed.
