A sandy beach bordering the south side of the mouth of the Kennebec River, Popham Beach State Park is truly one of Maine's rare geologic landforms. Sunbathers relaxing on Popham's sands can see Fox and Wood islands offshore, and the Kennebec and Morse rivers border each end of the beach.
Offering alpaca walks, get to know the alpacas up close with a leisurely trek around the property, enjoy an alpaca yoga class in the grass during the summer months or, a yoga class in the barn with the alpacas as the backdrop. Rent the barn and the alpacas for your next party experience. Or, enjoy a farm visit where you can hang out with the alpacas, feed them, ask questions, and take lots of pictures! Bonyun Preserve is conservation land managed primarily for the preservation of wildlife. The Preserve is open free of charge to the public from dawn to dusk. Easy, moderate and scenic 1.7 mile loop with dirt, forest floor and rocky ledge. No pets allowed. B.Y.O.B. Bring your own Bug spray!
